We are contacting you today regarding an unfortunate and complicated situation. The individual who we commissioned for the artwork of the five ASV mechs, TerkMC, has been verified as a plagiarist by the mods of the Pilot NET discord server. This is not speculative. The mods were able to determine with certainty that TerkMC plagiarized various mechanics for his own Lancer supplement, Terk Mech  & Tech. We have seen some users on Reddit also accusing TerkMC of tracing some of his artworks; however, we have been unable to verify this.

TerkMC's involvement in Aerosystems Venandi was purely as a commissioned artist. He was not involved in the development of any mechanics in our supplement.  At this time, we do not know if TerkMC engaged in plagiarism when creating his works for ASV.

Additionally, TerkMC does not receive any continuous monetary gain from ASV. All of his works for the supplement were commissioned before ASV was published on itch. All money made from sales goes directly to us (minus a small processing fee PayPal takes). If you purchased ASV, or you are considering buying it, your money will never make its way to Terk.

Of course, we at tacklestab! do not approve of or engage in plagiarism in any fashion. The mechanics of ASV were developed with the assistance of our internal playtesters and various Reddit users who publicly provided us with feedback.

The artwork Terk created for ASV was previously included with purchase of the supplement. It has been removed from the files included with purchase. It can be downloaded for free through this devlog post and will remain so. We cannot continue to profit from potentially plagiarized art.
